As Executive Director of WAGES since 2003, Hilary has led the expansion of WAGES’ programs in the East Bay and San Francisco and the development of a three-year expansion strategy to increase the organization’s impact throughout the Bay Area and beyond. Hilary’s previous work covered a range of issues including fair trade, environmental health, women’s health, and immigrant rights. Her visits with fair trade farmers in Latin America inspired her commitment to cooperative models, environmental sustainability, and collective endeavors that give us space to dream. Hilary holds a degree in religion and politics from Princeton University, and in 2006 she completed LeaderSpring’s two-year Executive Director fellowship. She serves on the Board of Directors for Opportunity Fund, a non-profit organization based in San Jose, and chaired the Board of Natural Home Cleaning from 2003 to 2009.
